We built LavoHQ to help store owners work faster - not to collect data about them. This policy explains exactly what we do and don't do with your information.
1. What We Collect
We only collect information you actively give us - there's no background data harvesting.
If you send us a message through the contact form, we receive your name, email address, and message. That's it. We use it only to reply to you.
Our plugins contain no tracking or telemetry code. They run entirely on your server. We don't receive any data about how you use them.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit our pages. It collects only aggregate data (page views, referrer, country, browser type) - no cookies, no fingerprinting, no individual profiles.
2. Payments & Licensing
All payments, subscriptions, and license management are handled by Freemius. When you purchase a plan, you're transacting directly with Freemius - we never see or store your payment details.
Handles checkout, subscriptions, license keys, and billing. They may collect your name, email, payment method, and license activation data per their own policy.
Provides aggregate page-view statistics for our website. No cookies, no fingerprinting, no personal profiles - only anonymised counts of visits, referrers, and browser types.
3. How We Use It
The only personal information we receive is what you send us via the contact form. We use that solely to:
- Reply to your message or support request
- Follow up if your issue needs more than one exchange
We don't send marketing emails, add you to mailing lists, or share your contact details with anyone.
4. Cookies
We don't set any cookies on this website - not for analytics, not for advertising, not for anything. Cloudflare Web Analytics, which we use for page-view counts, is specifically designed to work without cookies or fingerprinting.
If you complete a purchase, Freemius may set session cookies on their own checkout and account pages to keep you logged in. Those are governed by Freemius's Privacy Policy.
5. Sharing
We don't sell, rent, or trade your information. Full stop.
The only time information moves outside our contact inbox is if we're legally required to disclose it - for example, by a valid court order. We'd notify you if permitted to do so.
6. Data Retention
We don't run a user database. The only personal data we hold is email correspondence from support conversations, kept only as long as your issue remains active. Once resolved, we have no reason to keep it.
Licensing and billing records are retained by Freemius under their own retention policy.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Because we hold very little, most requests are straightforward to fulfill.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us and we'll respond promptly. For rights related to your license or purchase history, contact Freemius directly.
8. Changes to This Policy
If we make any meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. We don't expect this policy to change much - our approach to data is intentionally minimal.
